Maths is so valuable to every child’s development and this workshop enables all to take part in these practical activities, learning through real life Maths.
Year 2 experience a fun, two hour ’hands-on’ workshop using real miniature bricks and miniature building materials focusing on language skills and mathematical calculations used on a building site. Maximum of 30 pupils per workshop.
Year 6 experience a fun, two hour ’hands-on’ workshop using miniature bricks and building materials. The focus is on mathematical calculations, multi operational problems as used on a building site and language skills. Maximum of 36 pupils per workshop.
A full day of workshops would be one workshop in the morning with one class and a second workshop in the afternoon with a different class. Alternatively you can book a half day for one workshop.
