Making and investigating slime through a fun, two hour, ‘hands-on’, changing materials workshop. The focus of each workshop is to design and make slime, then test its properties. The emphasis is on measurement, fair testing, AT1 Skills, observation, prediction, recording and giving reasons for results. All resources, tuition and equipment are provided. The children and adults love this slimey workshop!

KS1 - Investigate how wet sand behaves and manipulate slug and snail gunge.

KS2 - Design a bucket of ‘Bogies’.

A full day of workshops is one workshop in the morning with one class and a second workshop in the afternoon with a different class. Alternatively you can book a half day for one workshop.
