Testimonials

We are proud to have an excellent track record in schools since 1990:

"We have been using ‘Teachers from Industry’ for over 10 years now. We always go back to them because they have a strong reputation for excellence, in providing interactive workshops for children. We have never been anything less than delighted with the interactive, memorable workshops that ‘Teachers from Industry’ provide for our pupils.

The staff, administration and learning provided by ‘TfI’ is outstanding. Each time they come, the children receive a learning experience they will never forget. Resources are exciting and enticing; lessons are planned meticulously; the teachers in residence are highly skilled; and each child learns with a smile on his/her face!

I would thoroughly recommend ‘Teachers from Industry’ to any school or L.A. They are the best provider of Maths and Science workshops that I have ever used."

Rob Hughes, Headteacher, St Mary of the Angels Catholic Primary School, Ellesmere Port

"Teachers from Industry supplied the maths and slime workshops for several schools within our learning collaborative. They created bespoke units of work that catered for the variegated difference in all the children’s abilities. All of these units of work were perfectly suited to the children and, what might once have been a tedious task; measuring very precise amounts of liquid, suddenly became a challenge to create the perfect slime.

We have again booked TFI to work with us. We loved working with Teachers for Industry as much as the children loved the slime!"

Deborah McArdle, North Huyton Learning Collaborative

"We asked TFI to implement a primary school electrical circuit workshop programme into primary schools in the Ellesmere Port area during October 2008.

From the very beginning the service we received from TFI was fantastic, they ensured that we were fully informed on all of the project developments throughout the project lifetime, we were also given the opportunity to watch TFI in action, which many of the staff did.  They delivered fully on all objectives and the feedback received from the people involved in the Skills Lab was excellent.  After the project was completed TFI completed a full project report covering all aspects and objectives.

The National Skills Academy for Nuclear would highly recommend Teachers from Industry to any organisation that is looking to work on the STEM agenda as part of their CSR.  Teachers from Industry always ensure best value for your budget and maximum impact where it matters – in the classroom.

We would not have any hesitation in working with them again, in fact we already have!"

Sellafield Ltd have been working with Teachers from Industry (TFI) for well over 12 years and I have found them to be a very professional organisation.

TFI has tailor made a number of programmes to enhance the teaching of science in primary schools, ensuring that they fit in with the national curriculum and supporting all children within the classroom including special needs.

TFI organise all the administration with the schools which means that there is very little need for administration within the Company. We receive monthly feedback from every workshop which is completed by the schools. All feedback is extremely positive and we always have a waiting list of schools for the programme.

The teachers that TFI use for our programme are very popular with both the teachers and pupils at the schools and are very professional and reliable.

"A wonderful morning, the children were enthralled by 'fit with forces' song! They seemed to respond very well to the fast pace of the morning and it even stimulated their thoughts when doing something as simple as opening a drawer! Mr Hughes had them eating out of the palm of his hand. Thanks."

"The children really enjoyed this workshop and were eager to begin the practical session. Good balance of teacher input and paired activities. The class remained focused throughout the lesson and it was interesting listening to their discussions. All on task; which isn't always easy with these children. Thank you"
