More Information
All of these workshops are education based and cover specific parts of the National Curriculum.
Experienced teachers teach the workshops in your school in the pupils’ own classroom and all materials and resources are provided.
We use a lot of equipment for a real ‘hands-on’ approach, bringing in equipment that is envied by many schools.
All that we ask is that there is a member of staff in the classroom throughout the workshop. This is also a benefit to the teachers as they get to sit back and assess the children while they learn from our experienced and energetic teaching.
KS1 workshops are for a maximum of 30 pupils and KS2 workshops are for a maximum of 36 pupils.
A full workshop day is £350 (+VAT), this consists of one two hour workshop in the morning with one class and another two hour workshop in the afternoon with a different class (with the exception of C+ workshops where a full workshop day is with one Year 6 class all day). The full workshop day must consist of the same workshop topic in the morning and afternoon, for example if you would like a Slime Science workshop in the morning, the afternoon workshop must also be Slime Science.
You can book half day workshops if you would like just the one class to be taught a topic, or if it is more convenient for your school if they are taught at different times of the year. A half day workshop is £200 (+VAT).
Workshops can be bought in using school funds or using local authority funding if you can get it.
To book a workshop please call or email us to see what dates are available, or sometimes available dates are advertised, it’s advised to book in advance to avoid disappointment. If you book the same set of workshops year after year, why not contact us after the previous workshop to book in your next!
Once an available date has been selected please fill in the order form, these can be found on the website or we can fax or post one to you. Upon receipt of the order form the school head teacher or deputy head teacher must sign the form and (if possible) provide an order number. The order formmust then be copied for your records and the original signed form returned to us.
Once we receive your order form we will process this and send you confirmation of your order. Please confirm this is in your school diary and all persons concerned are made aware of the booking.
Two or three days before the day of the workshop we will contact your school to remind you that we will be providing the workshop.
We will deliver the workshop.
After we have completed the workshop we will send school an invoice.
Upon receipt of our invoice the school must make arrangements to pay the invoice within 30 days of the date of the invoice.
